Welcomefrom the team at the Dartmouth ArmsThe Dartmouth Arms has been the centre of the Dartmouth Park community since the 1860s when, before the drinking water became sanitary, the publican would serve weak ale to the citizens of the Dartmouth Park estates . It has grown in size and purpose over the years and now boasts a two bar set up. The Dining Room offers, in addition to its main function, space for weekly quizzes, book and cinema clubs, wine and food tasting and the finer things in life. The public bar provides a vast selection of real ales, ciders, wines and continental beverages as well as full T.V. coverage of all major sporting events. We also have board games, a book shop selling second hand books at a very decent price, and Arlene's Thursday afternoon hair cutting service, as seen on BBC and Channel 5 news and in the Independent newspaper! A warm (real fires in winter) welcome is always assured. Graham Pearson |
